In Iriomote Island, where most of the island is covered with undeveloped virgin forest and registered as a World Natural Heritage site, canoeing and SUP on the river flowing through the jungle are very popular.
Enjoy cruising on the magnificent river with mangrove trees growing on both banks.
After the mangrove cruise, we will visit “Barasu Island”, a miraculous island made entirely of coral fragments.
Barasu Island is also known as “Miracle Island” because it only appears at low tide.
Once you land on the small, white Barasu Island, you can see a spectacular view of the emerald green sea as far as the eye can see from a 360° angle.
After enjoying the spectacular view at Barasu Island, you can also enjoy sightseeing at Yubu Island, which is located right next to Iriomote Island.
Yubu Island can be reached from Iriomote Island by riding a buffalo cart across the sea, and this buffalo cart is the specialty of the island.
You will feel the time flowing slowly in Iriomote Island and will be healed very much as you ride on the buffalo cart.
The entire island of Yubu Island is a subtropical botanical garden.
Please enjoy leisurely sightseeing while visiting greenhouses where colorful tropical plants are cultivated, butterfly garden, souvenir shops and cafes.

How to contact us after booking a tour
Our guide will contact you by phone (or e-mail) the evening of the day before the tour to inform you of the tour details.
Pick-up and Drop-off Area
Pick up and drop off service is available at hotels in Uehara area of Iriomote Island.
Our guide will inform you of the pick-up time after your reservation is made.
* Hotels outside the Uehara area (Jungle Hotel Painumaya, Eco Village, Latida Iriomote, etc.) are out of the pick-up and drop-off area.
If you are staying at such hotels, please take a bus or taxi to the Uehara Port.
Cancellation and Change of Reservation
The following cancellation fees will apply if you wish to cancel your reservation.
1. By 8 days before the tour : Free of charge
2. By 7 to 2 days before the tour : 2,000 yen for one group
3. After the day before the tour : 100% of the participation fee
*No cancellation fee will be charged if you cannot join the tour due to force majeure, such as tour cancellation due to bad weather or flight cancellation.

About the decision to cancel the tour
The tour will be held even if it rains, as long as safety is ensured.
Except for special weather conditions such as typhoons, the tour will generally be held rain or shine.
However, field conditions are subject to change due to wind, waves, and other factors in addition to rain.
If we determine that the field is not safe on the day of the tour due to these factors, we may cancel the tour even if the weather is fine.
Our guide will contact you if the tour is cancelled.
Notes
1. Meeting and dismissal times may vary depending on the season and field conditions on the day of the tour.
Our guide will inform you of the meeting place and time on the day before the tour.
2. Due to the decrease in the size of Barasu Island, we may have to change the plan to another one at the last minute. Please understand this in advance.
3. Please note that the order of activities may change or the time schedule may be altered depending on the tide level at Barasu Island.
4. Please change into clothes that you do not mind getting wet before the tour.
5. Please use the restroom before the tour. There are no restrooms near the tour field.
6. Please contact our guide in advance if you are going to be late.
7. SUP is limited only for ages 12 and older.
If you have children between 6 and 11 years old, please choose canoeing.
8. For safety reasons, we do not allow people who meet these conditions to participate in our tours. Please be sure to check.
